Welcome to Perth
Welcome to Perth, my favourite city in Australia! As a local, I’m biased, but I genuinely believe that Perth has something special to offer visitors. The city is located on the stunning west coast of Australia, with its pristine beaches and clear blue waters.
The weather in Perth is one of my favourite things about the city. I also love the laid-back vibe here, with locals taking their time to enjoy the simple things in life, like a stroll along the beach or a coffee in one of the many trendy cafes. Perth is famous for its natural beauty, but the city has plenty to explore. From the vibrant nightlife in Northbridge to the historic Fremantle Markets, there’s always something going on in Perth. Foodies will love the local produce and seafood, and there are plenty of wineries and breweries to visit in the surrounding areas.
If you’re planning a trip to Perth, be prepared to take your time and soak it all in. The city is relatively spread out, but getting around with a car or public transport is easy. And don’t forget to pack your sunscreen – you’ll need it!
How To Get There
By Air: Perth Airport is the major airport serving the city, located about 18 kilometres east of the city centre. It is well connected with major cities in Australia and international destinations, with several airlines operating regular flights. Some airlines flying to Perth include Qantas, Virgin Australia, Jetstar, and Emirates.
By Road: You can also reach Perth by road from other parts of Western Australia or neighbouring states. Major highways like the Great Eastern Highway, Brand Highway, and South Western Highway connect Perth with other cities and towns in the state. However, be prepared for a long and tiring journey if you’re driving from other states like Victoria or New South Wales.
By Rail: The Indian Pacific and the Prospector are long-distance trains connecting Perth with other Australian cities. The Indian Pacific runs from Perth to Sydney via Adelaide, while the Prospector runs between Perth and Kalgoorlie. Suburban trains operate within the city and connect the outer suburbs with the city centre.
By Sea: If you’re travelling from other parts of Western Australia or the Northern Territory, you can reach Perth by sea. The Port of Fremantle is the major port serving Perth, with several cruise ships, cargo vessels, and ferries operating from here. The Rottnest Express ferry service also operates from Fremantle, taking passengers to Rottnest Island.

Cowaramup is a small town located in the Margaret River region of Western Australia, known for its quirky cow-themed shops and cafes, as well as its proximity to some of the region’s best wineries, beaches, and natural attractions.
