Koper is renowned for its well-preserved medieval old town, where narrow winding streets lead to beautiful squares adorned with Venetian-style architecture. The city offers pristine beaches for sun-seekers, such as Žusterna, where you can bask in the Mediterranean sun and indulge in water sports.

Luckily, we visited Slovenia by cruise ship before Covid-19 and cruised on the Azamara Quest cruise liner that took us on a 7-day tour around the Mediterranean. At that time, Koper was rated the top cruise destination in Europe.
