Welcome to Fiji Islands

Fiji is the land of endless beauty and warm smiles! A paradise nestled in the heart of the South Pacific, where the islands beckon travellers with its turquoise waters, powdery beaches, vibrant culture, and breathtaking landscapes.
Fiji has an archipelago of more than 300 islands, where its major islands, Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, contain most of the population. The main island of Viti Levu is home to the capital, Suva, a port city with British colonial architecture.

What to expect

When you arrive in Fiji, the first thing you can expect is a very warm welcome! Fijians are among the friendliest people you can ever hope to meet, and as the country is reliant on tourism, locals go out of their way to give you a hospitable reception.

Although English is an official language, you are sure to be greeted with a ‘Bula‘, which is the Fijian word for hello. If you say that word every time you meet a local and ‘Vinaka‘, which means thank you, that will be very much appreciated.

The most affordable way to visit the islands is by passenger ferry, which takes you to most inhabited islands. You can catch water taxis too.
