THE BEST TIME TO VISIT During summer, summer is the best time to visit New Zealand, between December to March, with temperatures between 61°F and 75°F. Snow often falls in the South Island between June and September
and in some of the North Island’s more mountainous areas. The spring and fall months have milder weather and are enjoyable to visit. Temperatures are usually 50°F and 60°F.

Language: New Zealand has three official languages, Māori and New Zealand Sign Language, while English is the primary language used.

Banks & ATMs: Major Banks are ANZ, Bank of New Zealand, ASB Bank, Kiwibank, SBS (to name a few). You’ll find ATMs anywhere in the city, like airports, malls, banks, and other commercial buildings.
Plugs and Sockets: New Zealand’s electricity supply runs at 230/240 volts Plugs used Type I and are angled two or three-pin plugs (the same as Australia).

Safety: New Zealand is considered one of the safest countries in the world, with crime rates low. And there is also no dangerous wildlife to worry about – no snakes, scorpions, and crocodiles!
Air New Zealand is New Zealand’s national airline based at Auckland Airport, but major airlines like Qantas Airways and Virgin Australia also have connections into New Zealand.
