Black Mountain

Montenegro, translated as ‘Black Mountain‘, is a Balkan country in Southeastern Europe, located on the Adriatic Sea, sharing borders with Serbia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Kosovo, Albania, the Adriatic Sea and Croatia.

Its capital is Podgorica, a historical capital and older city of Cetinje and for much of the 20th century was part of Yogoslavia.

Being Europe’s smallest country, Montenegro displays rugged mountains, medieval villages and a narrow strip of beaches along its Adriatic coastline. The Bay of Kotor, resembling a fjord, is dotted with coastal churches and fortified towns like Kotor and Herceg Novi.

Montenegro is a beautiful country offering breathtaking nature, rich history, good food and a friendly population.
