THE BEST TIME TO VISIT
Like any part of Europe, Spring (mid-March to mid-May) and Autumn (September – mid-November) are the best months to visit.
From June to August, it’s the High Season with warm to hot weather and lots of tourists and crowds in this period.
The Winter months, December, January and February, can get pretty cold, but the Christmas markets are spectacular at this time.
Climate:
The Czech Republic has a pleasant climate with warm summers between 20°C (68°F) and 30°C (86°F) which peak by July and cold, snowy winters average between –5°C (20°F) to -10°C (10°F)

Banks & ATMs:
The Czech National Bank (CNB) serves as the country’s central monetary authority, although there are many other banks for foreign transactions. You can usually find ATMs at airports, banks and shopping malls.
Plugs and Sockets:
There are two associated plug types, C and E
Plug type C is the plug that has two round pins
Plug type E is the plug that has two round pins and a hole for the socket’s male earthing pin.
The Czech Republic operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.
Highly recommended to carry an international plug adaptor.
Safety:
Crime and even pickpocketing are not common in the Czech Republic, so this country is a very safe place to travel. However, remain vigilant at all times, especially on the streets at night.
Czech Airlines is the national carrier for the country, with its central hub in Prague.
There are some great airfares with EasyJet UK if travelling out of London.
