Dutch Renaissance

The Netherlands (or Holland), located in northwestern Europe, is known for a flat landscape of canals, tulip fields, windmills and cycling routes.

The Capital is Amsterdam and famous for its Dutch-renaissance beauty.

A rare combination of a beautiful old-world charm with cobbled streets between historic old townhouses and the calm flow of the canal is mesmerizing as you spend your days exploring this quaint country by bicycle – the icon of the Netherlands.

Experience charming windmills and luscious greed fields, which explode into a rainbow of colours as tulips bloom between March and May and line up perfectly for that much-awaited season of the Tulip Festival – a photographers’ paradise.

With the leaves changing and the foods and beers of the festive season emerge, June, or between September and November, are the best time to visit the Netherlands. The average temperatures are pleasant, ranging from 9°C – 19°C.

July and August are High Seasons, where the weather is hot and generally lots of crowds and tourists. The average temperature is 0°C and 4.4°C  during the cold season.

The Netherlands enjoys a moderate oceanic climate featuring mild winters, cool summers and a dry season.
