July and August are High Seasons, where the weather is hot and generally lots of crowds and tourists. The average temperature is 0°C and 4.4°C during the cold season.

Plugs and Sockets:
The Netherlands uses the Type F plug, which has two round pins.

Crime rates are low in the Netherlands, so it is safe to travel. Use common sense and be vigilant of your surroundings and pickpocketers.

The national airline carrier for the Netherlands is KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, with Amsterdam as the central hub for most international airlines. Flights are also available to Eindhoven, Groningen, Maastricht and Rotterdam.
