Pittsburgh – the Steel City

Pittsburgh has two nicknames, firstly as “the Steel City” for its location of steel producers in the world and secondly
as the “City of Bridges” for its 446 bridges.

Downtown Pittsburgh

A bustling business district with skyscrapers, a mix of old-school steakhouses and trendy, chef-driven restaurants. A market square, a public plaza with eateries and bars. This downtown is at the confluence of 3 rivers The Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio.

Mount Washington

Mount Washington is known as the highest peak in the North East at 6,288.2 ft and is the most prominent mountain east of the Mississippi River.

Point State Park

Point State Park, situated at the merging of three rivers, The AlleghenyMonongahela, and Ohio, is at the tip of Pittsburgh’s
Golden Triangle” with walking and cycling trails, plus the Fort Pitt Museum.
