Bern – Capital of Switzerland

Bern, the capital city of Switzerland designed with medieval architecture preserved in the Altstadt (Old Town). 


The landmark of Bern is the Zytglogge, a 13th-century medieval tower serving the city as guard tower, prison and clock tower. The Zytglogge is one of Bern’s the oldest monument of the city and a heritage site which is part of the Old City of Bern, a UNESCO World Cultural.


The Einsteinhaus is a museum to commemorate the last residence of Albert Einstein. A flat on the second floor of the house was occupied by Einstein, his wife Mileva Marić, and their son Hans Einstein from 1903 to 1905.
