THE BEST TIME TO VISIT
The best time to explore Türkiye is in the shoulder season, between April and May and September and October.
The weather is relatively mild, so you can explore the cities and the outdoor ruins without worrying about the heat.
Türkiye has a Mediterranean climate where summers tend to be hot and dry, and winters are mild and mostly rainy.

The official language is Turkish, spoken by 90% of the population and Kurdish, spoken by 6% of the people and English is widely spoken in Istanbul
Currency:
The Turkish lira ₺ (TRY) is the official currency of Türkiye and Northern Cyprus.

There are foreign banks in Türkiye, including Deutsche Bank, HSBC Bank, Citibank, and J.P. Morgan Chase.
Plugs and Sockets:
There are two associated plug types, types C and F.
Plug type C is the plug that has two round pins, and plug type F has two round pins with two earth clips on the side.
Türkiye operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.
Local Culture:
Türkiye has a very diverse culture that blends Turkish and Western culture and traditions.
During the summer, Muslims observe Ramadan, where Muslims fasts, calculated according to the local calendar and appointed in its time every year. Please make sure to respect their culture and dress conservatively.
Safety:
As a rule, Türkiye is safe for tourists and remains a popular destination around the world, but try to avoid places near the border of Syria.
Be vigilant, as tourist hotspots, restaurants, shops, and public places are usually where most thefts and pickpocketing occur.
